Hands of Hope

There are people in need all around us - in our communities, our cities, and abroad. At Hope, we believe we can make a difference by serving people, meeting their practical needs while also telling them about God's love and mercy. As 1 John 3:18 says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”

The Hands of Hope planning team coordinates serving and outreach activities so anyone from Hope Church can participate. First, we encourage and provide opportunities for the community groups to serve, either on a periodic or one-time basis. We also coordinate church-wide activities and partner with local ministries who are making an impact in our community.

We participate in regular activities such as Backpacks for Hope, as well as organizing periodic service projects such as collecting back-to-school materials for at-risk children and serving seniors who need assistance maintaining their homes.

To express interest in participating in any of our opportunities, or for questions or comments, please use the form at right.

Food Truck Rally

On August 19th, Hope Church will be participating in a Food Truck Rally in our area. Hope will have a tent set up, passing out water and information. This is a great way to connect with people in the area and serve. We volunteer to help the organizers set up, greet and direct, and clean up. The rally is a fun, family friendly outdoor event with plenty of great food and sweets on hand. If you would like to help us make this event a success and help Hope get some exposure, please let us know. Sign up for a time slot here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c084ba4af22a3fa7-food

Location:  4845 Johnson Oehler Rd, Charlotte, NC       Time Slots available between 1-9 pm
