Hope Church has two main tracks that everything falls into:
Weekend Services: This is our opportunity to come together and celebrate the things God is doing in our lives and in our community. These services meet each week at 10am at Mallard Creek High School. The music will be passionate and the messages will creatively communicate the truths of the Bible.
Community Groups are intimate groups of people who meet to worship and follow Jesus while encouraging others to do the same. Once a week the group gathers at a member’s house to partake in fellowship, break bread, study scripture, and encourage one-another in prayer. Community groups are designed in such a way to be welcoming to followers, doubters, and seekers alike. We believe this is the best way to get to know other members of the Hope Church family and impact the greater Charlotte area. For more information, visit the "Join a Community Group" tab.

Community Groups
At Hope Church, we believe Community Groups are the foundation of the church and the best way to get connected to Hope and to minister to Charlotte and the world. Community Groups are built on a biblical foundation and are designed in such a way to be welcoming to followers, doubters, and seekers alike. To put it simply:
Community Groups are intimate groups of people who meet to worship and follow Jesus while encouraging others to do the same.
Weekly Meeting
Once a week, Community Groups all over the greater Charlotte area gather at a member’s house to partake in fellowship, break bread, study scripture, and encourage one-another in prayer. All groups at Hope Church study the same material and meet
year-round, so finding a community group is as easy as choosing the group that best fits your needs. Community Groups are led by members at Hope Church who have been trained to walk through all aspects life with their group.
Intimate Community
Community Groups are not designed to be limited to a “once-a-week bible study”. Each group is a collection of 12-15 people who form a deep and intimate community. Participants in the group meet one-another’s spiritual and earthly needs and make a commitment to walk through all stages of life with one another.
Global Community
The call to follow Christ is not limited to Sunday or just the church congregation. We are called to redeem those around us by praying that God may use us for His will. Groups reach out to those in their surrounding community and strive to change the lives of those around them. As we strengthen our relationship with Christ during our weekly meetings, we seek to share the power of Jesus in our lives with those in our surrounding communities.
The Great Commission
We are called to make disciples of all nations. Why not start in our city? Community Groups are designed to be vehicles for the local church to love and provide for its city. As Community Groups begin to grow in attendance, we raise leaders from within to plant more groups and expand the Kingdom of God in Charlotte.

High-energy celebration services.
Relevant Bible teaching.
Worshipful response time.
Following the teaching at each Hope Church service, we provide additional worship opportunities to help you connect with God on a more personal level. This includes, prayer, communion, the cross, and tithes and offerings.
- Prayer - James 5 tells us, "Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray...Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord." At every celebration experience, we have elders available on the sides of the auditorium to pray with you and provide counsel. During the response time, we encourage all participants to reflect on the Word of God and pray through the following two questions, "What is God saying to me?", and "What am I going to do about it?"
- Communion - Jesus instituted the communion at the Last Supper when he gathered those closest to Him and served them the wine and the bread, which He said was to represent His body and blood given for us. At Hope, we take communion through "intinction." That's a mighty big word which simply means that we "dip" the bread into juice provided at the worship stations. We ask that you let scripture guide you and please take communion only if you have made a decision to receive Christ in your life. We also ask that you take communion with a clear heart, first confessing your sin to God and making any sin right with others in the body of Chirst.
- The Cross - Colossians 2:13-14 states, "You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross." Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sin on the cross. As a symbol of that loving action you may want to take opportunity to symbolically nail you sins to the cross with the supplies that are provided. Use this opportunity as a time of reflection and repentance of sin in your life before God.
- Tithes and Offerings - God asks us to give of our resources joyfully to Him. The act of submitting to God with our tithes and offerings is an act of worship. Take time during your worship response to pray with your family, commit your tithes and offerings to God and freely and graciously ask God to lead you in how you can be a good steward of His financial resources.
A live band with great vocalists.
Casual atmosphere and dress.
People welcomed just as they are no matter their background.
We are a church that puts God first and traditions last. A church that loves people regardless of their church or non-church background. We are a church where people grow in knowledge, relationships with God and each other, and lives are changed for the better. When your relationship with God is good and you are leading a fulfilling and passionate life, what could be better?

Wellness Policy
We know that the health of your child is important to you. Health issues are important to us as well. To avoid spreading viruses, we ask that you do not register a child that has had any of the following symptoms in the past twenty-four hours:
Fever, diarrhea or vomiting, colored nasal discharge, any discharge from eyes, any communicable disease with a rash.
We will gladly pray with you for the health of your child. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help with your child's well being.
Security Tags
When you register your child, you will receive a security tag with a number on it. To assure the safety of your child, the security tag will have to be presented by an adult before your child will be released from their class. We also use this system to contact parents during services.
What Does Hope Believe

Our Beliefs and Practices
- In essential beliefs - we have unity. Ephesians 4:4-6 For there is one body and one spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father who is over all and in all and living through all.
- In non-essential beliefs - we have liberty. Romans 14:1,4, 12, 22 Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters...Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls..So then each of us will give an account of himself to God...So whatever you believe about these things, keep between yourself and God.
- In all our beliefs - we show charity. 1 Corinthians 13:2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn't love others, I would be nothing.
The Essentials We Believe:
The sole basis for our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it speaks.
As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of deity.
God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God’s grace - not human effort - and must be received personally by repentance and faith.
Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplished salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between God and us. He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit. He will return to earth to consummate history.
The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
